About Of Faculty of Veterinary Medicine
Philosophy
“Integrity Guiding Expertise for One Health.”
Vision
In a world where over 75% of emerging infectious diseases originate from animals, veterinarians are far more than providers of care for pets. They serve as the frontline defenders of global health security, playing a vital role in safeguarding both animal and human well-being.

Acting Dean, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine
Mission
1. Transforming Education through Area-Based Approach
We do not design our curriculum to imitate others. Instead, our programs are “Made to Order” specifically for the Western region of Thailand:
Ratchaburi: Focused expertise in the poultry industry
Phetchaburi: Specialization in dairy and beef cattle, goats, and sheep—key economic drivers of the region—along with in-depth understanding of wildlife and elephants
Coastal Areas: Integration of aquaculture knowledge with veterinary science in a systematic and interdisciplinary manner
2. Advancing “One Health” for Food Security
Guided by the philosophy:
“Integrity Guiding Expertise for One Health,”
our graduates are nurtured to become guardians of national food security. They play a vital role in:
Ensuring animal health standards to support high-value agricultural exports
Strengthening disease surveillance systems
Preventing outbreaks before they escalate into global crises
